Detailed Congo Gorilla Tour & Zanzibar Beach Vacation Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Virunga National Park
At the airport in Kigali, our company representative, with a great pleasure will gladly pick you from Kigali international airport; briefing you about the entire experience, and then sharing a glass of Rwandan Juice. Thereafter the journey to Goma in Congo begins, traversing undulating hills, flourishing plantations, and scattered homesteads.
You will have an en-route stopover for lunch and then proceed through the scenic Rwanda-Congo border post. After a long drive, finally, arrive at the lodge in the park in the evening for a dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Virunga
After a taste of Congo coffee, drive to the park headquarters for a gorilla pre trekking briefing, and gorilla group allocation. Depending on your speed and the direction the Apes have taken, trekking time might last for approximately 1-7 hours, with encounters of several other park residents; notably; amounts of money, birds, and forest mammals.
The views of mountain backdrop are one other aspect of interest. Upon locating these relatives, you will be given an extra hour to take photos and watch them have fun, interact, play and feed. Day 4: Fly to Zanzibar – Stone Town Tour
After your breakfast meal at the lodge, you will check out for a transfer to the airport for a flight to Zanzibar city; a place with a torch of ancient architecture and rhythm of life. Our company representative with a plying card inscribed on your name; meet you at the airport and then proceed with a city walk, through the ancient stone town buildings; with a visit to the wonderful house and the museum among other places. After, you will head to your lodge for a nap and overnight stay.
Day 5-6: Full day Zanzibar beach experience
For these two days; welcome each morning with an early sunrise breakfast, and then head to the Beach for a Full day fun-packed experience, and refreshment. Among the activities, you will engage in include Swimming, boat ride, photography, sport fishing, relaxation and sand beach sports.
A taste of kinds of seafood and cool sea breeze will keep you refreshed and excited the entire day, before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: departure
At sunrise, greet your intestines with a hefty cup of coffee, and then exit to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
